Summer was possibly the most difficult film we made during the rode reel competition. We started filming early morning and still went well overtime due to the intricate dance sequence that is the entire visual crux of the film.
We aimed to create something some beautiful to truly highlight the beauty of man and to explore the opposing side of this façade. Summer further tackles social issues pertaining to nature and the environment in connection to man and their disregard of the world we live in.
We used a Canon 80d and a Rode VideoMic to film Summer. While it was a difficult movie to film we managed to achieve something special in our small capacity. This was a challenging film that we put our everything into.
