Under the misconception that innovation is lead by lone inventors, the character attempts to create the first Inutile machine. Due to his reluctance to collaborate, he eventually fails as a group of people at the Stark Institute of Technology develop the first Inutile machine.
I used the RØDE NT1-A to record the vocals. The audio interface I used was the Focusrite Scarlett Solo and I used Audacity for the recording software. When I was recording vocals, I played around with the distance of the mic; this allowed me to change the sound (as the closer you are, the more it sounds like a narration). I also used the RØDE VideoMicro to record the sound of the drilling. My favorite shot was the bottom-up shot with coffee being added to the cup. It was done by placing a glass cup on a glass table and mounting the camera below facing up. I used a combination of a 100mm, 50mm and 24mm lens for the shots. The soundtrack was created in Logic Pro X and was the result of adding some loops together. All other post-production work was done in DaVinci Resolve.
