Jake has been wondering Britain alone for the last five years, looking for his sister Sophie. the only thing is that the country is now empty of humans and riddled with vicious blood thirsty dogs, that at one time were domestic pets.
Behind the scenes of The Divided
We shot the all of the film on a 35mm, Nikon DSLR camera. we had our 'Big Rig' set up to all our needs in one so that we could shoot as quickly and efficiently as possible, given that we were shooting in a lot of public places and the film is set in a post apocalyptic world.
all of our locations were self sourced, free and local, all things that played to our favour when transporting equipment.
We recorded sound through a Rode NTG-2 which we have had for a long time, running into a TASCAM DR-70D.
For the most part shooting consisted of us chacing the sunlight, which is why it helped us to have a rig that was ready for everything. we also used our New CAME-TV Steadi-cam for a few shots as well, which of course gave us more freedom and flexibility in our shots.
We used another Nikon DSLR with a Rode VideoMic Pro, to shoot the BTS, and both the film and the BTS were edited on Adobe PremierPro
we are very happy with the way the film turned out and couldn't of asked for a better team to be a part of it.
