We are looking for a passionate and talented Digital & Social Media Manager to join the RØDE Marketing team. This unique and exciting role requires a skilled digital strategist with an excellent understanding of social platforms, current and upcoming trends and how to use digital media to amplify a brand’s message. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and working closely with the Strategy and Creative teams, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional and engaging social media and digital activities that deliver results for RØDE’s marketing aims. 

Your responsibilities will include the following;

  • Development of digital strategy in conjunction with Strategy team to achieve objectives for the global markets 
  • Manage all aspects of digital campaign activity across all channels including –  paid and organic social, SEO and SEM, brand awareness initiatives and communication with global distributor network  
  • Day to day community management and responding to customer queries across all social channels  
  • Development of content calendars for each market 
  • Be responsible for the digital growth strategy, competitor analysis and budget management  
  • Report on campaign engagement, cost per lead, conversions, traffic, ROI and other key metrics 
  • Brief artwork and content to our in-house creative and communications team 
  • Be actively involved with providing innovative content and suggest process improvements and enhancements 

We will provide you with the tools and environment to enable you to be successful, but you will be required to have the following;

  • Tertiary qualifications in media, marketing, digital marketing or other relevant fields 
  • 4 – 5 years of demonstrated Digital Marketing experience 
  • Highly skilled and experienced with executing digital campaigns from end to end in a fast paced environment 
  • Strong knowledge of developing and executing acquisition strategies 
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as with a cross-functional team 
  • Demonstrated experience in management and optimisation of Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Facebook Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, SnapChat & managing digital communities and global pages 
  • Exceptional grasp of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager & A/B testing functionalities 
  • Experience in creating content in written, photo and video mediums 
  • Experience in reporting and gathering insights from data 
  • Finger on the pulse in terms of trends, customer engagement and competitor analysis 
  • Experience or knowledge of audio products would be highly desirable 
  • Experience in digital and social marketing in international markets would be highly desirable 
  • Agency experience highly desirable
